Biography
Courtney Quist was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and attended The Bolles School, graduating in 1985. Following that, Courtney majored in English at the University of Florida, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. After a move to Rochester Hills, Michigan, Courtney attended Wayne State University Law School, graduating in 1995 with a Juris Doctorate. She is married to George Jay Quist, a Kent County Circuit Court Judge. Together, Courtney and Jay Quist have a son named Jonathan Quist who is attending Grand Valley State University.
